Saurines de La Torre

Spain

The golf course at saurines de la torre golf, located between balsicas and roldán, is one of six jack nicklaus-designed courses in the murcia region that run within a forty-kilometer radius.

The polaris world holiday resort group designed these new millennium golf courses, which are all incorporated into remote, gated self-sustaining suburban neighborhoods with their own on-site amenities.

Saurines, formerly terrazas de la torre golf, is now managed by ugolf, a major european golf course management firm that manages over fifty spanish and french golf courses, including three in murcia: mar menor, hacienda del alamo, and saurines.

The saurines course is 6,473 meters long, but resort golfers will play it from the forward tees, which make it a more accessible 4,914 meters. The course is built in the style of a desert landscape, with large sandy waste areas and low-lying dunes, as well as fairways that snake their way through a pair of large lakes. The redan-style par three 14th and the shallow par four 15th, which includes a tricky elevated tee, are notable holes.
